Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released relief amount of Rs 403 crore for farmers in Ujjain, said- ‘Government is farmer friendly’

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released relief amount of Rs 403 crore in Ujjain. Gave information about schemes to make farmers and youth self-reliant through solar pumps, milk production, organic farming and industrial investment.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is continuously working for the welfare of farmers, poor, youth and women. He said that the government is farmer friendly and continuous efforts are being made to improve the lives of farmers.

The Chief Minister said that till now a relief amount of Rs 1800 crore has been distributed in the state to compensate the losses caused to the farmers due to excessive rainfall. He said that if there is damage to crops due to any reason, the government will provide all possible help to the farmers, because the farmer produces food through hard work and sweat, and it is the responsibility of the government to help him in case of natural disaster.

Relief fund distribution ceremony in Ujjain

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the relief fund distribution ceremony organized in Tarana tehsil of Ujjain district on Sunday. On this occasion, he released a relief amount of Rs 403 crore for the farmers affected by excessive rains.

  • Rs 138 crore for farmers of Agar-Malwa district
  • Rs 265 crore for farmers of Ujjain district

Along with this, he provided an assistance amount of Rs 45 crore to the beneficiary sisters of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, a total of 29 lakh sisters of non-Ujjwala and special backward tribes with a single click. In the program, the Chief Minister also performed Bhoomi Pujan and inaugurated 30 works costing Rs 31 crore.

Relief and schemes for farmers

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that many schemes are being run in the interest of farmers. He said that now farmers will have to pay only 10 percent of the cost of installing solar pumps, the remaining amount will be borne by the government. This will provide relief to farmers from electricity bills.

The government is also emphasizing on connecting farmers with milk production. Farmers will be given grants to promote indigenous cow rearing. The Chief Minister said that instead of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, farmers are being motivated to do natural and organic farming. He said that Samman Nidhi is also being given to the farmers by the Central and State Government so that their income increases and they become financially empowered.

Inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan of 30 development works

The Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan and inaugurated 30 works costing a total of Rs 31 crore in the ceremony. In these-

  • Inauguration of 21 works worth Rs 14 crore
  • Bhoomipujan of 09 works costing approximately Rs 17 crore is included.

Tarana will benefit from new roads and educational institutions

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a new road will be built to connect Tarana to Shajapur. Now Tarana will also be directly connected to Agar Road. He said that now most of the roads in the state are being built as four lanes. He said that the bhoomi pujan of the college has been done in Kaytha, which will provide the facility of higher education to the local students. He also congratulated the people of the area on the inauguration of ITI in Tarana.

New industrial investment in Kanasia-Bardwana area

The Chief Minister informed that a big factory is being set up in Kanasia-Bardwana area at a cost of about Rs 8,000 crore. This project will provide employment opportunities to about 2,000 to 3,000 youth of the area.

Farmers benefit from Bhavantar Payment Scheme

Giving information about Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, the Chief Minister said that the Central Government has fixed the price of soybean at Rs 5,328 per quintal. Farmers who sell their produce in the market will be given the difference between the market price and the declared price by the state government.

The message of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is clear-

If the farmer is prosperous then the state will be prosperous.

The aim of the government is that every farmer should become self-reliant, his income should increase and the development of villages should progress at a fast pace.
