Raipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new building of Chhattisgarh Assembly in Raipur on Saturday. This day was very special for the democratic journey of the state, as this event was organized on the 25th anniversary of the formation of Chhattisgarh. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also attended this function. Congratulating the people of Chhattisgarh, he said that institutions like the Legislative Assembly are a symbol of the public’s trust and expectations. He said that the strength of democracy depends on what kind of discussions and deliberations take place in these institutions. Only better communication and strong policies make governance successful.
