You can put the remaining flowers of Chhath Puja in the pots at home, due to which they will rot and become compost and after the seeds of some flowers germinate, new plants will emerge. Apart from this, after drying the flowers, add things like incense, camphor, desi ghee to it, grind it and make tikkis from its paste and dry them. These tikkis can be burnt in the house, which prevents insects from coming and also spreads a nice aroma in the house.
