Railway News: According to Northeast Railway, work is underway to install an automatic signaling system for a total distance of 24.64 km on Govindnagar-Tinich-Gaur-Babhanan railway line on Gorakhpur-Gonda railway section. A block will be carried out for this work on August 18.
During this time some trains will be cancelled while the routes of some will be changed. Certain trains will also be rescheduled. Many trains connecting Chhapra will be affected.
Cancelled Trains
-15114 Chhapra-Gomtinagar Express running on August 17 will be completely cancelled. This includes 15113 Gomtinagar-Chhapra Express running on August 18.
-15034/15033 Lucknow Junction-Patliputra-Lucknow Junction Express running on August 18 and 19 will also remain cancelled.

Route Of THESE Trains Changed
-15109 Chhapra-Mathura Junction Express running on August 18 will be run via Gorakhpur-Barhni-Gonda instead of its scheduled route Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda. As a result, this train will not have stoppage at Khalilabad, Basti, Babhanan, Maskanwa and Mankapur stations.
-12565 Darbhanga-New Delhi Express running on August 18 will run via Gorakhpur-Barhni-Gonda instead of Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda.
-12557 Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminus Express running on August 18 and 19 will be run via Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda instead of Gorakhpur-Barhni-Gonda.

-14673 Jaynagar-Amritsar Express running on August 18 will be run via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda instead of its scheduled route Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda. Due to this change, this train will not stop at Khalilabad, Basti, Babhanan and Mankapur stations.
-15212 Amritsar-Darbhanga Express running on August 18 will run via Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur instead of Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur. During this time it will not stop at Basti station.
-15110 Mathura Junction-Chhapra Express running on August 18 will also be run via Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur instead of Gonda-Barhni-Gorakhpur. This train will not stop at Mankapur, Maskanwa, Babhanan, Basti and Khalilabad stations.
