Pujara announced retirement
Cheteshwar Pujara of India has announced his retirement from international cricket. He gave information about his decision through X. BCCI pension plan
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) provides monthly pension to retired players, which is effective from June 1, 2022. For male players it ranges from Rs 30,000 to Rs 70,000 and Rs 45,000 for women to Rs 52,500. Which depends on the number of international and first class matches played by them. Former players like Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar get 70 thousand rupees pension. According to the BCCI, former players are categorized on the basis of the contribution of pension players and their role during their career.
