Cheteshwar Pujara, the important player of the Indian Test team, has finally said goodbye to all the formats of his cricket. After a long career of about 20 years, now he has kept the bat forever. Pujara stepped into domestic cricket in 2005. His first match was a first class match between Saurashtra and Vidarbha. After this, he also played international cricket for about 13 years. He played his last first class match against Gujarat in February 2025. Although Pujara was out of international cricket for a long time, there was no significant reduction in his earnings. They are earning millions of rupees every month from domestic cricket and other sources.

According to a report by News18, Cheteshwar Pujara has a total net worth of around Rs 24 crore. Despite being out of Team India, he kept his earnings strong. Their monthly income is about 15 lakh rupees, which comes through domestic cricket and advertisements. No team in the IPL may have been able to buy them for a long time, but there was no significant decline in their brand value.

Domestic cricket became a big source of earning
Pujara’s attention was completely focused on domestic cricket after being out of Team India. For Saurashtra, he scored continuously and played an important role in tournaments like Ranji Trophy. This performance gives them good remuneration every season. The fees and match fees received from the BCCI to the players playing domestic cricket are also an important part of their income. Along with this, advertisements related to some local and national brands also increase their earnings.

International career was great
Pujara took his move in international cricket in 2010. He made his debut against Australia in Bengaluru, which was a Test match. At the same time, in 2013, he got his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. Pujara’s ODI career did not work much, but after his feet debut in Test cricket, he remained frozen for the next 13 years. Pujara played a total of 103 Test matches for India, in which he scored more than 7000 runs. However, he never got a big platform in the IPL. Despite this, his Test career and domestic cricket performance never allowed him to be financially weak.
