Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya-starrer Chennai Love Story registered a sharp decline at the Indian box office on its second Monday. The Telugu romantic drama, which arrived in theatres on July 24, 2026, completed 11 days of its theatrical run on Monday, August 3. The film has now entered Day 12, with collections for Tuesday, August 4, currently underway.
Chennai Love Story Box Office Collection Day 11
According to box office tracking website Sacnilk, Chennai Love Story earned an estimated ₹0.71 crore India net on Day 11 from 1,298 shows. The second-Monday figure represents a decline of around 71.6 percent compared with its ₹2.50 crore collection on Sunday.
Following the latest addition, the film’s cumulative India net collection stands at an estimated ₹33.71 crore. Its India gross collection has reached ₹38.68 crore.
Chennai Love Story had accumulated ₹27 crore India net by the end of its first week. The film opened with ₹4.95 crore on its first Friday and saw its collections increase over the opening weekend, earning ₹5.75 crore on Saturday and ₹6.50 crore on Sunday.
Collections subsequently dropped to ₹3.30 crore on the first Monday, followed by ₹2.80 crore on Tuesday and ₹2.20 crore on Wednesday. The film earned ₹1.50 crore on Thursday to close its first week.
During its second weekend, Chennai Love Story collected ₹1.50 crore on Friday, ₹2 crore on Saturday and ₹2.50 crore on Sunday before falling to ₹0.71 crore on Monday.
Chennai Love Story Worldwide Box Office Collection
The film has also recorded an estimated ₹6.80 crore gross from overseas markets so far, according to Sacnilk. Combined with its ₹38.68 crore India gross, Chennai Love Story has reached an estimated worldwide gross collection of ₹45.48 crore after 11 days.
With Day 12 currently underway, the film’s Tuesday numbers will indicate how collections hold following the second-Monday decline.
