Payment from UPI will be completed in 10 seconds

Transactions through UPI are going to intensify more from Monday. The National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has reduced the response time for payment to 10 seconds. UPI or Unified Payments Interface is an immediate payment system, which has been developed by NPCI to facilitate transactions among banks through mobile phones.

According to the recent circular of NPCI, transactions including money transfer, status investigation and return will now be completed in 10 to 15 seconds instead of 30 seconds. In this way, from June 16, the time taken to verify the address in UPI payment will now take only 10 seconds compared to the earlier 15 seconds. The NPCI said that the aim of amending the response time is to improve the customer experience.

Balance will be able to check only so many times a day

According to another circular of NPCI, customers will soon be able to check their account balance 50 times a day through their UPI app. According to an expert, there is no limit to check the balance of account in a day and keeping in mind the systemic efficiency, a limit of 50 has been started.
