In the suicide note, the deceased has directly blamed his business partner for the death and has appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for justice.

Businessman commits suicide in Barra, sensation spread in the area

Omendra Singh, resident of Barra World Bank D Block, committed suicide by hanging himself with a muffler in the room located on the second floor of his house on Monday evening of 22 December. There was panic in the entire area after the incident. Police investigation has revealed that before committing suicide, Omendra had cut the veins of his hand seven times, due to which blood was scattered in the room.

Wife saw a horrifying scene

The incident came to light when Omendra’s wife Anjana Singh, who is a staff nurse at LLR Hospital, returned home after finishing her night duty. As soon as she opened the door of the upstairs room, she saw her husband’s body hanging from the fan. On hearing his screams, other family members and neighbors reached the spot. As soon as the information was received, the police arrived, sent the body for postmortem and started investigation.

Partnership in solar panel business becomes cause of tension

According to family members, Omendra was doing business of solar panel rooftop fitting with Damodar Nagar resident Divyendra Sachan for the last six years. Uday Singh, younger brother of the deceased, told that initially the business was going well, but since last one year, Divyendra started making irregularities in money transactions.

According to Uday, the partner embezzled the money from the business and committed fraud in the accounts. When Omendra protested against this, he started receiving threats. After this dispute, Omendra started living under deep mental stress. He spoke less to his family and could not sleep at night.

Serious allegations against partner in suicide note

Police have recovered a two-page suicide note from the spot, in which Omendra Singh has clearly blamed Divyendra Sachan for his death. It is written in the note that fraud in business and mental pressure forced him to take this step.

In the suicide note, Omendra has also appealed for justice, calling himself a fan of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Along with this, the police have also recovered a blood stained knife from the room. According to doctors, the main cause of death is suffocation due to noose.

Accused partner absconding, police teams formed

After the incident, police raided the house of accused Divyendra Sachan, but he was found absconding. Police have registered a case against him under IPC section 306 (abetment of suicide). Officials say that the entire matter is being investigated seriously on the basis of the suicide note and statements of family members. Police also say that the allegations of fraud will be confirmed by examining the documents and transactions related to the business. Teams have been deployed to search for the accused and it is claimed that he will be arrested soon.

A mountain of sorrow fell on the family

Omendra Singh leaves behind his mother Ramwati, wife Anjana and two young sons. The family says that if they had got justice in time, this accident would not have happened today. This case once again raises questions like trust, transparency and mental pressure in business partnerships before the society.
