Aurangzeb had banned the arrival of Jamuna after imprisoning his father Shah Jahan.
Mughals history: Shah Jahan, imprisoned in Agra Fort, wrote to Aurangzeb, “On one side there are Hindus who give water to their dead forefathers and on the other hand you are stopping the water of the living father”. Aurangzeb’s reply was, “All this is the result of your actions. You are responsible for your problems. You are still not getting rid of your tricks and tricks.”
Babur laid the foundation of the Mughal Empire. But till the third generation came, the father-son and brother of the Mughals became thirsty for each other’s blood. Jahangir challenged Akbar. Shah Jahan rebelled from his father Jahangir and then decorated the crown on his head, killing the contenders of the throne after his death.
Shah Jahan was imprisoned by son Aurangzeb till his death. Cut the head of his real brother and the father as the most beloved Dara and presented it as a gift in a gold saucer. Two other brothers Shuja and Murad were also killed. During the imprisonment of six and a half years, the war between Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb continued.
Both did not leave anything. Jahanara continued to take care of Shah Jahan in the fort during this time. She was not imprisoned but from brother Aurangzeb, she had obtained permission to take care of the prisoner father. Read the stories of the days of Shah Jahan’s imprisonment.
The battle of the throne among the sons of Shah Jahan
Jahangir had to wait for Akbar’s death for the reign of India. Shah Jahan also moved towards Agra only after the strong news of father Jahangir’s death. But during Shah Jahan’s illness, a bloody war for the throne started between his sons. Of course, in the meantime, Shah Jahan’s health improved and he lived for the next several months but Aurangzeb was not ready to stop. He defeated the father to the most beloved Dara. Head separated from the body.
Shah Jahan kept imprisoned in Agra Fort till he died. Through this, the accused and arrows of Tanj continued to walk between the father and son through the letters. Shah Jahan kept trying to embarrass her by referring to her misdeeds and Aurangzeb kept reminding her what he had done to his father and brothers? Then the battle of letters
Jahanara was a link between the father and sons tangled among themselves, which was dear to the Father and due to which the brother was not angry. The prisoner was banned in the fort with him to take care of the father. The father had lost the war with the son. But the war between the two was going on. Jahanara wanted the letters to reduce some bitterness, but both were not ready to spare each other.
Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in memory of his Begum Mumtaz Mahal, Jahanara was the largest of his fourteen children. Seven children had passed during Mumtaz. Jahanara did not marry. While dying, Mumtaz asked him to take care of his father and siblings. Although Jahanara’s sympathy was with Dara in the battle of Takht and Aurangzeb was also aware of it, but after sitting on the throne, he did not keep enmity with Jahanara. Anyway, Jahana had confined himself to the fort with the prisoner father, due to which Aurangzeb was relaxed on his behalf.
Aurangzeb accused of common theft
Aurangzeb complained that in the love of elder son Dara, Shah Jahan committed injustice to him from the beginning and in his misconduct he kept making cheap accusations on him. It is not easy to trust mangoes, due to the misunderstanding between the hands in which the kingdom of India remained, it is not easy to trust. But Aurangzeb’s letter makes the same statement.

Aurangzeb.
Professor Heramb Chaturvedi has quoted it in his book “Jahanara -a dream, one reality”, “You did not know us as an enemy from the beginning? If the thinking is so cheap, then what you are suffering, it is also reasonable and natural justice.
Have you ever thought that what would have passed on our heart that after your slave and son, my mentor, king and walid should write in the letter that we stole mangoes from your choice trees in Burhanpur. And with the accusation, you have not only included the only part of Burhanpur in the Khalsa land, but its arrangement was also handed over to Amin posted by you directly from Delhi. Was your trust in your Subedar? On your son? “
Who is a glory?
In the war compared to Aurangzeb, Dara first ran from Agra to Delhi and then gathered the treasure there and traveled towards Punjab. However, Shah Jahan tried to stop him. All the Subedars of the country were also sent decree to help him.
Shah Jahan wrote to Dara, “My dear child, my son… Sometimes luck also laughs at man’s efforts. Hardly anyone has seen his life coming out of his body, as we have seen our soul going today.” Aurangzeb got information about this.
He wrote to Shah Jahan, “Who proved to be a wonderful that night? Who ran away with their wife and children? You kept calling. Did we send money. You have never liked it.

Day and night of Shah Jahan passed through Taj
The father had lost his son. Shah Jahan used to stare at the Taj from the Musamman Burj of the fort. Nothing to do Old stories and memories to tell. Together the daughter was Jahanara. There were also some more khudmatgar. Shah Jahan’s letters were now evident. He wrote to Aurangzeb, “The throne of Delhi is now in your possession. Let us be relaxed in the fort of Agra. Well, there are many wells in the fort. But we are all addicted to drinking Ganga-Jamuna water. Our Jamuna does not stop the water.
The son said to the father-you are suffering
There was no softening in Aurangzeb’s response. He attacked directly, “All this is the result of your actions. The way you are writing letters to Shah Iqbal Buland and sometimes Shah Shuja and the way Raja Jai Singh, Mir Jumla and Mahabat Khan are sending decree, what is the way for us and the way? We were not in any way to run away.
Once again, Aurangzeb again reiterated that you are still not getting rid of your cleverness and tricks. You are responsible for your problems. We are doing what you deserve with you. Aurangzeb Chun – kept attacking by choosing.
Reminded Shah Jahan, “As you removed your elder brothers Khusro and Parvez from the way, we also did. Aurangzeb sentenced his brother Murad to death in Gwalior’s captivity. This sentence was given in the name of blood from his son Ali Naki’s Shariah in his death.
It is believed that Aurangzeb was pressurized to demand this demand on Ali Naki. This was the trick of Aurangzeb to remove Murad from the road and offer law to the law. On the pretext of the sentence of Murad to Shah Jahan, I surrounded it, “I did this in following the law. But you killed Davar Bakhsh, Shaharyar, Hoshang and his brother. We even killed Dara because he kicked up according to Islamic law. Takht made it, but where do they hide the crime today.
