Chardham Yatra Registration 2026: There is big news for the devotees waiting for the holy Chardham Yatra of Uttarakhand. Chardham Yatra of the year 2026 is going to start from 19th April. Chardham Yatra 2026 schedule
This year, Chardham Yatra is going to be inaugurated from the holy festival of Akshaya Tritiya, Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham will open on 19th April and the doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on 22nd April. After this, the doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened for the devotees on 23rd April.
How to register online? (Step-by-Step)
The process of online registration has started from 6 March 2026. You can register yourself in the following ways
- First of all go to the official website registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in.
- Click on Register/Sign In button on the homepage.
- Create your ID by filling your name, mobile number and necessary information.
- After logging in, select the option of Create/Manage Tour.
- Select the date of your journey and the place you want to visit.
- Click on Add Pilgrim and fill the information of all the passengers and upload Aadhar Card or Voter ID.
- After completion of the process, you will get a Unique Registration Number (URN).
- Finally, download your registration letter, which will contain the QR code.
How to register online through WhatsApp?
If you do not want to use the website, you can also register by sending a message from your phone:
- Save the number 8394833833 in your mobile.
- Send YATRA on WhatsApp to this number.
- Answer the questions asked from there and complete the registration by sending your details.
How to register through mobile app?
- Download Tourist Care Uttarakhand app from Google Play Store or App Store.
- Submit your tour plan by filling the required information in the app.
Helpline and offline registration facility
Offline Registration: Offline counters will start from 17 April 2026. These counters will be available at Haridwar, Rishikesh and main stops on the yatra route.

This system has been implemented for the safety, tracking and better facilities of passengers.
