Dinesh Chandimal who sustained an injury while fielding during the first session of the fourth day yesterday, hitting his shoulder and head hard on the ground was ruled out from taking any further part in the match.
A precautionary scan taken cleared him from any signs of internal injury.
Chandimal was subsequently assessed for concussion by the doctor and team physiotherapist on the ground and was ruled out after the assessment.
Pasindu Sooriyabandara replaced Chandimal as the concussion replacement.
