Kalash will be established on the first day of Chaitra Navratri 2026 i.e. Thursday, March 19. There are many auspicious times for establishing the Kalash on this day. Their details are as follows-
– 06:52 to 07:43 in the morning
– 10:58 am to 12:29 pm
– 12:05 to 12:53 pm (Abhijeet Muhurta)
– 12:29 pm to 02:00 pm
– From 06:32 pm to 08:01 pm

How many days is Chaitra Navratri 2026?
Sometimes due to Tithi increase and Tithi decay, the day of Navratri becomes more or less but this time it will not happen. This time Chaitra Navratri will last for 9 days. During these 9 days, a different form of the Goddess will be worshiped every day. The festival of Ram Navami will be celebrated on Friday, March 27, the last day of Chaitra Navratri.
Chaitra Navratri will start in conjunction with Panchak and Amavasya.
This time Chaitra Navratri will start in conjunction with Panchak and Amavasya Tithi. Panchak has started from 16th March and will continue till Friday 20th March. Whereas on March 19, sunrise will happen on Amavasya date. Therefore, the festival of Bath-Daan Amavasya will also be celebrated on this day. On this day, Amavasya Tithi will last till 06:53 AM and Chaitra Shukla Pratipada Tithi will start after this. Pratipada Tithi will end before sunrise the next day i.e. on 20th March. That means Pratipada Tithi will decay.
