Chaitra Navratri 2026 Daan: Chaitra Navratri is considered very special. It starts from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. This year Chaitra Navratri is starting from 19th March, which will end on 27th March. This time Mata Durga will come to earth riding on a palanquin and will depart on an elephant. Navratri is considered a special occasion to seek the blessings of Goddess Durga.

Donate these things during Navratri
Wedding items: Donate red chunari, red saree or wedding material to a married woman during Navratri. Mother Durga loves red color very much. Donating these things during Navratri is very auspicious. By doing this there is happiness and peace in married life.
Things related to education for girls: Donate notebooks, pens, books or other education related materials along with food to girls during Navratri. Little girls are considered to be the form of Mother Durga.
Fruits: Donate fruits especially bananas during Navratri. This brings blessings to the house. The economic crisis goes away and prosperity comes.
Cereals and White Sweets: Donate rice, flour, sugar or any white sweet on any day of Navratri. By doing this the poverty in the house goes away forever.
