Cha Eun-Woo has given netizens probably the cutest photo on the internet recently. The ASTRO star known for his extreme good looks, spread sunshine on social media on September 2, when an image of him with pet dog Dongdong started doing the rounds.
The photo was taken on the occasion of his Basic Military Training Graduation Ceremony. Eun-Woo got enlisted for his mandatory military service on July 28, 2025, and completed his basic training.

It showed the idol-turned-actor leading the ceremonial salute at his military training graduation after being chosen as an honour trainee, which is awarded for exemplary conduct and top marks in training. The event took place at the Army Training Center in Nonsan, South Chungcheong. According to attendees, Eun-Woo took the podium as his company’s representative, rallying his fellow recruits with crisp commands.
Several photos and videos of Eun-Woo commanding the salute in front of his cohort went viral in no time. Many reacted that it looked “like a movie set.” After the ceremony, he also received words of encouragement from the training center’s leadership, as reported by Korean media.
Soon after, when Eun-Woo’s adorable image with his pet dog surfaced, his fans couldn’t keep calm. One user wrote on X, “Really happy you got the chance to be with Dongdong.” Another one added, “Aww they both look so happy and it’s making me smile too yay!” While one fan called it “best picture,” other one reacted, “Aww! What joy to see Cha Euwoon with his little pup, Dongdong! They are both adorable together.”

Eun-Woo will continue his service with the Republic of Korea Army Band. He is scheduled to be discharged on Jan. 27, 2027.
