The Centre has released the names of leaders who will be part of seven anti-terror diplomatic teams that will be sent abroad as part of a global outreach post ‘Operation Sindoor’.
The all-party delegations will project India’s national consensus and resolute approach to combating terrorism in all forms and manifestations, according to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju. The 7 delegations will be headed by: BJP MPs Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha, DMK’s Kanimozhi, NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule, and Shiv Sena’s Shrikant Shinde.
- The delegation led by BJP’s Baijayant Panda will visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Algeria.
- BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad will lead the delegation in UK, France, Germany, European Union, Italy and Denmark.
- JDU’s Sanjay Kumar Jha will lead a delegation which will visit Indonesia, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Japan and Singapore.
- The delegation led by Shiv Sena’s Shrikant Shinde will visit UAE, Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone.
- Shashi Tharoor will head the delegation in USA, Panama, Guyana, Brazil and Colombia.
- Kanimozhi will lead her delegation in Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia, and Russia.
- While Supriya Sule will head a team which will visit Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, and South Africa.

On May 7, 2025, India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ in response to the devastating Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives. The operation obliterated nine terrorist sites across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
