  • The documents required for this loan include: Aadhar card, passport size photo, bank passbook (in the name of SHG), documents complying with the terms and conditions, and signature of SHG members.
  • You can apply for this loan at the NABARD district office of your district.
  • This loan will be issued in the name of your self-help group, not individually.

For example, if you have sewing skills, then you and 10 to 15 people you know can form a group and get this loan. Initially, there will be an opportunity to get a loan ranging from a minimum of 50 thousand taka to 5 lakh taka. The interest rate on this bank loan varies from state to state. Interest is charged up to 3 percent. This loan can be repaid in a period of 2-5 years.
