The centenary celebrations of Siddhi Bala Bose Library Association in Jabalpur were inaugurated by Union Minister JP Nadda and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Souvenir release, exhibition inauguration and felicitation ceremony were held.

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today inaugurated the centenary year closing ceremony of Siddhi Bala Bose Library Association in Jabalpur. On this occasion, the souvenir of the centenary celebrations “Yatri” was also released.

Tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and inauguration of exhibition

Before the program, Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav unveiled the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and paid emotional tribute to him. After this, both the leaders inaugurated and visited the exhibition organized at the venue.

Strong center of Bengali literature and art for 100 years

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda in his address said that the 100 years journey of Jabalpur-based Siddhi Bala Bose Library Association has been important in enriching Bengali literature and art. He said that this institution has been continuously contributing in the field of knowledge, culture and literature.

Shri Nadda described Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as a great patriot and an embodiment of sacrifice and said that his personality inspires every Indian to dedicate himself for the national interest. Netaji’s thoughts still inspire the countrymen.

Leading role in the preservation of art, literature and culture

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav started his address by wishing everyone present a happy Basant Panchami. He said that Siddhi Bala Bose Library Association has continuously played a leading role in the preservation and promotion of art, literature and culture.

The task of transmitting cultural heritage to the next generation

The Chief Minister said that such institutions are working to strengthen the intellectual consciousness of the state as well as to transmit our rich cultural heritage to the coming generations. This tradition is a matter of pride and inspiration for the state. He assured that the government will provide full support to such institutions in future also.

On the occasion of the centenary celebrations, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda honored the contribution of former minister and former MP Smt. Jai Shri Banerjee by presenting her a certificate of honour.
