CBSE LOC Data Correction 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the correction window to make corrections in LOC (List of Candidates) data for class 10th and 12th students. Schools or parents who find any mistake in the information of students can correct it till 27 October 2025. The LOC correction process can be completed online through the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in. What information can be corrected in LOC data?

According to CBSE, if there is any mistake related to student’s name, parents’ names, date of birth or subjects, it can now be changed through the LOC correction window. The board has given this opportunity so that there is no problem at the time of examination and the data of the students remains completely correct.

CBSE Board told- Which points should not be forgotten to check in LOC?

The board has appealed to all the schools, parents and students to check the below mentioned points carefully-

  • The student’s full name, date of birth, mother and father’s name should be filled correctly.
  • The full name (expanded form) should be written, not the short name or abbreviated form, because in future the full name will be necessary in many documents.
  • If the student is planning to study or get a job abroad, then the surname must be mentioned.
  • Date of Birth is correct and matches all records.
  • If the student’s passport has been made, then match the data with the details entered in it.
  • Subjects of both class 10th and 12th must be entered carefully as changes will not be accepted after the correction date.
  • It is the responsibility of the parents to fill all the data correctly.

The board says that by filling the correct information, there will be no problem in the examination process and preparation of results. Therefore, re-check all the school and parent data in time.
