CBSE Board Exam 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the Loc (List of Candidates) form submission portal for the CBSE Board Exam 2026. Now there is a chance for schools that have not yet filled the Loc form for their students. The board took this step because many schools could not submit the form in the scheduled time.
LoC Form Submission Important Dates
- General Submission: The last date so far is till 8 October 2025.
- Submission with late fees: Form can be filled till 11 October 2025 by depositing late fees.
- The board has given clear instructions that schools which do not fill the LOC form on time, will have to take full responsibility on their own. Students of such schools will not be eligible to sit in the board exam 2026.
How to submit Loc form?
Schools can submit the form on the official website cbse.gov.in by filling the list of their students and other necessary information.

When does CBSE 2026 board exam start?
The board has released a tentative date sheet for class 10 and 12. According to which the exam starts from 17 February 2026 and the class 10 board exam is ending on 9 March 2026, while the class 12 board examination is concluding on 9 April 2026. The examination time of most subjects is from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The examination time of some subjects is from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
How many students will be included in the CBSE Board Exam 2026?
In 2026, about 45 lakh students will take the exam in class 10 and 12. These students will join various states of India as well as 26 other countries. Exams will be conducted in a total of 204 subjects. Schools have been advised by CBSE to fill the LoC form in time and use the facility of late fees correctly. Students may have trouble joining the exam if they do not submit the form.
