CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the cave temple at Tarun Sagaram Tirtha in Muradnagar and said that India’s tradition is based on the sacrifice of saints and sages. He described the message of non-violence, compassion and friendship of Jain Tirthankaras as a guide for humanity.
Ghaziabad. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that India’s tradition has been a great story of sacrifice and sacrifice of saints, sages and great men. This tradition has remained a source of inspiration for world humanity for ages. Even today, sacred worship methods are progressing in the country with the same devotion and faith.
He said that three days ago, the completion of the Mahayagya for the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya and the hoisting of the saffron flag at the hands of Prime Minister Modi was completed. The whole world saw and experienced this eternal splendor of India.
CM Yogi inaugurates cave temple at Tarun Sagaram Tirtha
On Thursday, CM Yogi Adityanath reached Tarun Sagaram Tirtha located in Muradnagar. Here he inaugurated the cave temple built in 100 days under the Panchkalyanak Mahamahotsav. He remembered Lord Parshvanath and Saint Tarun Sagar Ji Maharaj and also released the books ‘Meri Bitiya’ and ‘Antarmana Divya Mangal Path’.
Uttar Pradesh: Birthplace of many Jain Tirthankaras
CM said that Uttar Pradesh is fortunate that four Jain Tirthankaras including the first Jain Tirthankara Lord Rishabh Dev were born in Ayodhya. Four Jain Tirthankaras also incarnated in Kashi. Jain Tirthankara Lord Sambhavnath was born in Shravasti, and Mahaparinirvana of Lord Mahavir took place in Pavagadh, Kushinagar. He said that the government has taken forward the process of changing the name of Fazilnagar to ‘Pava Nagari’, because it was here that Lord Mahavir attained Mahaparinirvana.
Jain Tirthankara’s teachings of compassion and non-violence are still relevant today
CM Yogi said that 24 Jain Tirthankaras gave the message of compassion, friendship, non-violence and ‘live and let live’ to the world. He taught about the welfare of not only humans but also every living creature. He said that if human civilization wants to reach heights, it will have to take refuge in Indian spirituality. A safe, clean and cultured environment is essential for physical development as well as cultural and spiritual progress, which India has always given to the world.
Tradition of sages is the path to the welfare of humanity: CM Yogi
The Chief Minister said that if we follow the path shown by the sages, then this world paves the way for the welfare of humanity. He told that in April last year, Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated the ‘One World-One Chain’ program on ‘Vishwa Navkar Mahamantra Diwas’ and had given nine resolutions – saving water, planting one tree, cleanliness, vocal for local, national philosophy, natural farming, healthy lifestyle, adopting yoga and sports and working for the welfare of the poor. CM said that the tradition of Jain monks is strengthening these resolutions.
Mention of the rigorous practice and discipline of Jain monks
CM Yogi told that he has seen the daily routine of Acharya Prasanna Sagar Ji Maharaj and Upadhyay Muni Piyush Sagar Ji Maharaj. A wonderful example of 557 days of rigorous meditation, 496 days of waterless fasting and discipline was seen. He said that this shows that if there is determination in the mind, even the impossible can become possible. Prasanna Sagar Ji Maharaj’s sadhana has given me this experience.
Many saints and public representatives were present in the program
Many saints including Acharyashri Prasanna Sagar Ji Maharaj, Piyush Sagar Ji Maharaj, Navapadma Sagar Ji Maharaj, Parimal Sagar Ji Maharaj were present in the ceremony. Along with this, state government ministers Sunil Sharma, Narendra Kashyap, MP Atul Garg, MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar, Ajit Pal, former MP Ramesh Chand Tomar, BJP Metropolitan President Mayank Goyal and Tirtha President Sunil Jain and Patron Ravi Tyagi were also present.
