CAT Result Date 2025: At present, the biggest question in the minds of MBA candidates across the country is when will the CAT 2025 result come out. Like every year, this time too lakhs of candidates who appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) are eagerly waiting for their scorecard. CAT 2025 was conducted by IIM Kozhikode and now important updates regarding the result are coming out. If reports are to be believed, the results may be released next week, however, according to the official notification, the results are likely to be declared by the first week of January 2026.
Where and how to check CAT 2025 result
As soon as the CAT 2025 result is released, candidates will be able to check it on the official website iimcat.ac.in. Login ID and password will be required to check the result. The scorecard of CAT 2025, once released, will be valid till December 31, 2026 and will be available on the website till the same date.
CAT scorecard, final answer key and merit list will be released simultaneously.
IIM Kozhikode, which is the organizer of the CAT exam this year, will release the scorecard, final answer key and merit list together after completing the review of all the objections. Since the CAT exam is conducted in different shifts and question papers, a normalization process will be used in preparing the result, so that the performance of all the candidates can be objectively evaluated.
When was CAT 2025 answer key released?
The provisional answer key of CAT 2025 was released on 4 December 2025. After this, the process of filing objection on the answer key started from December 8, 2025. A total of more than 2.58 lakh candidates had participated in this examination.
When and where was CAT 2025 exam held?
CAT 2025 was conducted on 30 November 2025 in computer based mode. This examination was conducted at 339 examination centers across the country. The exam was taken in three different slots, which is why the normalization process is adopted.
When did CAT results come in the last years?
If we look at the trend of last years-

- CAT 2023 results came on December 21.
