Expressways in Uttar Pradesh are no longer just a means of travel, but are now becoming the new identity of development and innovation. There are about 15 expressways in the state—some operational, some under construction and some proposed. Among these, Bundelkhand Expressway is considered to be the most special, because it is going to be the first expressway in India, where along with high-speed vehicles, electricity will also be generated.
This project is not limited to just road construction, but is being prepared keeping in mind energy, environment and future needs.
