Cancer test recommended by doctors: The risk of cancer is increasing in men, but with early detection, 80-90% successful treatment is possible. Therefore, it is very important to get 6 regular tests done after the age of 40.
Due to today’s fast lifestyle, stress, wrong eating habits and work-life imbalance, the risk of cancer in men has increased many times more than before. The Indian Medical Journal reports that men often ignore the early symptoms of cancer. For this reason, cancer is caught late, making treatment difficult and expensive. But the good news is that if cancer is caught at an early stage, its treatment is 80–90% successful. Therefore, doctors and oncologists recommend that men should get some specific cancer screening tests done from time to time.
Get cancer tested with PSA test (Prostate Specific Antigen)
Men aged 40+ or whose family has had prostate cancer must undergo this test. In this test the PSA level is checked from the blood. If PSA is found increased, there is a possibility of cancer or swelling in the prostate gland. Prostate cancer is the fastest growing cancer in men, but it develops very slowly. Therefore, if detected in time, it can be easily controlled.
