In changing times, breast cancer diagnosis and treatment have become more advanced than ever before. Now the test is not limited to just mammogram. You will be surprised to know that in the year 2022, breast cancer was detected in around 23 lakh women. Most of the women were such whose cancer had reached advanced stage. This happened due to the test not being done at the right time. Now breast cancer screening has become easier. With the help of blood tests, genetic tests and advanced imaging techniques, the disease is detected early.

When ctDNA increases in the patient’s blood, it means that the cancer is progressing, while its decreasing quantity indicates the positive effect of the treatment. Cancer experts believe that even if the effect of cancer treatment can be known with the help of blood test, it will not confirm that the patient has become free from the disease. The disease may recur.
