Cameron Young Claims The Players Championship; Bryson DeChambeau Wins LIV Golf Singapore Playoff

Cameron Young secured a significant victory at The Players Championship on Sunday, showcasing his talent with a critical birdie on the 17th hole.

He finished the tournament at TPC Sawgrass with a score of 13-under 275, while Matt Fitzpatrick missed a crucial par putt on the final hole.

Young’s performance included a bogey-free back nine, and he recorded a remarkable 375-yard drive on the 18th hole. This victory marks his second win on the PGA Tour, propelling him to No. 4 in the world rankings and earning him a prize of $4.5 million.

LIV Golf Singapore Results

In Singapore, Bryson DeChambeau triumphed in a playoff at LIV Golf Singapore, despite hitting his drive into the water. He won with a par on the 18th hole after Richard T. Lee missed a short par putt. Both players finished the tournament at 14-under 274.

DeChambeau shot a 5-under 66, while Lee also recorded a 66, finishing strong with four birdies in the last six holes. This victory represents DeChambeau’s first over 72 holes since winning the U.S. Open in 2024 and his fourth title on the LIV Golf circuit.
