Divorce case in Chhattisgarh: The Chhattisgarh High Court approved divorce with his wife, giving great relief to the husband. The husband moved the High Court after the divorce application was rejected in the family court. The wife used to taunt her as unemployed and left her along with the children. The woman tried to explain a lot, but she did not listen. It is clear from this divorce case that taunting the husband also falls under the category of cruelty.
Wife’s trick changed as soon as the principal gets job
The story is associated with Anil, a resident of Bhilai, who was married to Hindu customs on 26 December 1996. Anil was living a happy life with his wife and has two children, a son and a daughter. However, shortly after marriage, disputes between the two started increasing. Anil alleges that the wife joined the principal’s job after doing her PhD and her behavior has changed since then. She started quarreling over small things.
Wife repeatedly taunted by calling unemployed
Anil’s life changed completely during the Korona period. A mountain of grief on a lawyer Anil by profession was broken when his income stopped due to the court being closed. After this, the dispute with the wife deepened. She often started taunting Anil as unemployed. After a fight in 2020, she took the daughter to her sister. A few days later she returned, but not to settle down, but to leave forever. On 16 September 2020, she left a letter and disappeared, which said that she is breaking all the relationship with her husband and son on her own free will.
Family court application for divorce
Anil tried hard to bring his wife back, but neither agreed nor returned home. He then applied for divorce in the family court. In court, Anil told that he tried his best to convince his wife, but she did not come. She left the son to her on her own free will and took the daughter along. Not only this, while staying at home, she used to abuse and taunt as unemployed. All this was like mental cruelty with him. However, despite all the arguments, the Durg Family Court rejected the application in October 2023.

Mental cruelty was considered to be taunted by calling unemployed
Anil then appealed to the High Court. Summons were issued to call the wife in court and published in the newspaper, but despite this she did not appear in court. The High Court dismissed the divorce by rejecting the decision of the family court based on the husband’s witness, letter released by his wife and other documents. The court said that the wife left her husband without any valid reason and taunted her by calling her unemployed, which proves to be mental cruelty.
