New Delhi: Cadillac is clearly glad to be in Formula One this year, as it marks its inaugural season in 2026. This weekend marks the first race that the team is taking on American soil at the 2026 Miami Grand Prix. To celebrate, the carmaker is launching a limited-run CT5-V Blackwing with much more power.
The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series comes with an upgraded supercharger developed in partnership with GM Motorsports. It increases the supercharged 6.2-litre V8’s performance from 688 bhp and 893 Nm of torque to 685 bhp and 912 Nm of torque.
Cadillac will bring the saloon exclusively with the six-speed manual gearbox. Each car also gets the precision package, which includes quite a few upgraded suspension components, carbon-ceramic brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres. Each car gets Midnight Stone Frost Exterior shade.

The brand puts this colour with the Carbon Flash Metallic wheels, monochromatic crests, gloss-black exterior badging, and Harbour Grey Metallic brake callipers. The carbon-fibre lower bodywork comes with a Switchblade Silver pinstripe.
How F1 trickles into Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
The Blackwing, of course, takes quite a few subtle (and noticeable) F1 and FIA branding, which includes the F1 logo, embossed on the lower front doors. The back spoiler comes with both logos, while the FIA logo comes with rocker panels.
Step inside, and the sill had “Cadillac Formula 1,” with embossed F1 seat graphics. The six-speed manual shifter also comes with a special F1 medallion. Under the hood, the supercharger cover includes a CNC-machined F1 logo and even a laser-etched FIA logo. Cadillac will start production of the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series in mid-2026.
Production is limited to just 26 units, and the automaker hasn’t given any pricing for the saloon, but Cadillac will definitely charge a premium on this. In F1, Cadillac haven’t scored any points, with only the other team without points from the season being Aston Martin.
