How to change the cabin filter?
- To change the cabin filter, first you need to know the location of your cabin filter. In most cars the cabin filter is located under the dashboard. Some cars also have it near the AC intake vent inside the bonnet.
- If you want, you can find the location by looking at the car manual. First of all, open the glove box and remove all the things inside it and keep it in a safe place.
- Pull out the side mounted stopper and then bend under the glove box to remove the filter with a screwdriver.
- Take out the filter. Now clean the filter with the help of dry cloth. You can also use a vacuum cleaner. Now you have to install the new filter by looking at the air flow arrow. The arrow is downwards because the air goes from top to bottom.
- Put the filter back in the car. You close the glove box. You can change the filter once in 6 months as it gets dirty when the car is driven for 12000 to 15000 kilometers.
