Jr NTR came to grace the “Don’t Trouble the Trouble” event as the chief guest, highlighting his rapport with Rajamouli and Karthikeya. But somehow, the speeches of K Raghavendra Rao and MM Keeravani hurt them.
At the event, Keeravani’s remarks became a talking point among the fans.
Addressing the gathering, Keeravani suddenly said that he would chant three mantras. First, he shouted, “Jai Balayya,” then “Jai NTR,” and then, “Don’t Trouble the Trouble.”
While Jr NTR fans, and even Jr NTR himself, might have understood that Keeravani was referring to Jr NTR with his “Jai NTR” mantra, there was no clarity on that, and K Raghavendra Rao’s speech caused further confusion.
K Raghavendra Rao, in his speech, shouted, “Jai NTR,” but immediately clarified that he was referring to Sr NTR, and not Jr NTR, who was seated in the front row as the chief guest. This directly hurt many Jr NTR fans.
Why chant that slogan and then intentionally mention that he was not referring to the “young one”?
Well, fans are questioning why Jr NTR was invited only to be treated this way and insulted. Instead, they feel Balakrishna could have been invited.
The phrase Don’t Trouble the Trouble is anyway closely associated with Balakrishna’s popular image, and he also provided the voice-over for the film’s trailer. So, according to the fans, Balakrishna as the chief guest would have been a better choice.
Jr NTR was seen laughing helplessly during the speeches of K Raghavendra Rao and Keeravani, hiding whatever feelings he may have had within himself.
