A speeding Lamborghini rammed into an auto-rickshaw and a bike in Kanpur, injuring one person. The car belonged to the son of a tobacco businessman, which has been seized by the police and an FIR has been registered.
Kanpur: On Sunday, a speeding Lamborghini hit an auto-rickshaw and a parked motorcycle near Gwal Toli police station area in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, causing chaos. At least one pedestrian was injured in the incident and several vehicles were damaged. Police have seized the luxury car and registered an FIR. Police have confirmed that the Lamborghini is registered in the name of tobacco businessman KK Mishra and it was allegedly being driven by his son Shivam Kumar Mishra (45) at the time of the incident.

This Delhi-registered Lamborghini was traveling at a very high speed when it first hit an auto-rickshaw. It is being told that after this the speed of the vehicle increased further, near a turn the driver lost control and it collided with the parked motorcycle of Vishal Tripathi, a resident of Arya Nagar, who was standing nearby.

A pedestrian named Taufiq, resident of Chaman Ganj Ghosiana, suffered injuries while trying to escape from this uncontrolled car. He was going to Karbala at the time of the incident. Police said that the injured person has been sent for medical examination. Eyewitnesses alleged that after the first collision, the speed of the Lamborghini almost doubled, causing fear among the bystanders. As part of the investigation, CCTV footage of the area and statements of eyewitnesses are being examined. “Soon after the incident, Shivam’s bodyguard, who was following him in another car, took him to the hospital as he too had sustained injuries,” Gwal Toli SHO Santosh Gaur told TOI.
