Many people, including Indians, shared videos of this strange change in the weather from Dubai. After this there was a flood of posts like ‘Burj Khalifa is not visible’.
Dense fog hid the view
“Visibility is almost zero in some areas. But, the morning is looking cool and nice,” read a post on the Instagram page of the couple, who run a travel blog in Dubai. In another video, a woman living in Dubai joked, “Burj Khalifa is not visible.” Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world. The fog was so thick that it covered it too. Another person wrote, “Looks like even Burj Khalifa is sleeping.”

After this many people shared pictures of fog on social media. “Traffic is slow, but the views are amazing,” wrote another user. Some other people also said that one should not drive fast in fog and low visibility while driving can lead to major accidents. According to the NCM, areas such as Al Kharayin in Sharjah, Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, Al Lissaili and Al Qudra in Dubai, and Sai Shuaib and Al Ajman in Abu Dhabi were covered in fog, Gulf News reported. Dubai Police and Abu Dhabi Police also issued warnings. Dubai Police tweeted that drivers should drive safely and carefully due to dense fog.
