According to the police, Yogesh was trying to get his sons to vacate the house. The son was thinking of taking over the property from his father and hired a neighbor Arvind (32) as a contract killer. Arvind along with his brother-in-law Naveen, who is a policeman in Kaushambi district, opened fire.
