According to sources, as per the Parliament calendar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2026-27 on Sunday, February 1. With this, this will be the first time in recent times that the Union Budget will be presented on Sunday.

According to sources, the President will address the joint session of Parliament on January 28, which will mark the beginning of the budget session. The Economic Survey will be presented in Parliament on January 29. Sources said that the first part of the budget session of Parliament will run from January 28 to February 13, while the second part of the session will run from March 9 to April 2.
