New Delhi: Allu Sirish’s latest fantasy action movie has finally made its way to OTT. After its theatrical release on August 2, 2024, the Telugu movie received moderately positive reviews from the audience.

The plot for Buddy follows Allu Sirish’s Aditya Ram, a pilot who is approached by an animated teddy bear, Buddy for a special mission. Aditya and Buddy join hands to take on a dangerous task to eliminate corruption and find justice. The action-packed movie was highly anticipated, however, it could not match the expectations of the viewers as it received a 5.8/10 on IMDb.
The biggest criticism of the movie was the underwhelming screenplay and lacklustre performances from the cast. ‘Couldn’t watch past the first 10 minutes. Terrible performance by everyone. Whoever wrote the screenplay & dialogues clearly doesn’t want the educated audiences to watch the film,’ read a Google review.’ Meanwhile, a few reviewers called the movie could be a decent watch with family and kids.
