The Golden Maknae of the group has long been embroiled in with aespa member Winter. While neither side has accepted or rejected the claim, the internet continues to buzz time and again, claiming evidence like “matching tattoos” and similar activities that allege a relationship. But the fresh round of rumours has added one more name to this relationship, making it a “love triangle.” Now, ENHYPEN’s Jungwon has been dragged into the claims, too.
How did Jungkook, Winter, Jungwon fall into a ‘love triangle’ claim?
On March 26, Jungkook went on a following spree on TikTok, adding accounts of numerous K-pop idols and groups, both from HYBE and from outside the label. While fans took a jibe how Jungkook was now following the entire K-pop industry, some users started discussing who he chose to follow and who he did not follow. Among all the SM Entertainment groups he followed, including EXO, aespa was the only band missing from his list. NewJeans was also not followed, but given the group’s ongoing dispute with HYBE, that absence was widely anticipated.
Seeing aespa missing rom his list, many fans pointed at the ongoing dating rumours between Jungkook and aespa’s Winter, claiming it might be the reason why he kept the girl group away.
Post the release of BTS’s new album ARIRANG’s title track SWIM, fans on TikTok and Instagram have been undertaking the hook-step challenge. Many idols also joined the trend of the SWIM challenge, including Jungwon. While Jungkook reposted many videos on his social media accounts, some users noticed he ignored Jungwon.
Winter, Jungwon dating claims
This takes us back to 2024, when Winter and Jungwon sparked relationship speculation after alleged sightings and “evidence” that surfaced on social media. The two were seen spending time at the same bar. Netizens identified the woman as Winter from the red tracksuit she was wearing, matching to her previous sighting in the clothing. Regarding the masked man, many recognised him as Jungwon. Their photos went viral, and some even said Jungwon’s voice was audible in the video. This speculation led to their agencies officially denying any sort of relationship. Jungwon even personally addressed the matter during a live broadcast.
