With this service, all telecom operators in India are now equipped with 4G. Jio, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea (VI) companies were already working on 4G and 5G networks and now users will get better connectivity with the arrival of BSNL’s 4G service.

Why is BSNL 4G special?

The 4G service of BSNL is now available in every state of the entire country. Earlier this network was launched in different telecom circles. This rollout simultaneously includes 98,000 sites. BSNL’s 4G network is completely based on indigenous technology and its software and hardware have been developed in India itself. About Rs 37,000 crore has been invested in this project. The Union Minister has described it as a major step towards self -reliant India.

How many users will benefit from BSNL 4G?

With the arrival of BSNL’s 4G service, 9 crore users of the country will get direct benefit. Compared to private telecom operators, the recharge plans of the government telecom company are 30 to 40 percent cheaper. Due to better network and low cost, users can now port to their number BSNL.

6G preparations in the country- PM Modi

Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the preparation of 6G network in the country. The central government has claimed that 6G service can be launched in India by 2030. With this, India will join selected countries that will give 6G networks first. BSNL is also working on 5G service and 5G rollouts are possible in metros like Delhi and Mumbai by the end of the year.

With this launch, India has now joined countries that make their own telecom technology. India has become the fifth country after Denmark, Sweden, South Korea and China. On this occasion, PM Modi gave a big gift to BSNL and said that now people of the country will be able to take advantage of fast and reliable network. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) contributed significantly in preparing BSNL’s 4G network. The company served as network rollouts and integration. At the same time, the radio access was developed by Tejas Network, so that the system could be fully integrated.
