Bihar Student Credit Card Yojana 2025: The Education Department has launched a scheme called “Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme”. Its purpose is to provide financial help to students to complete their higher education. Under the scheme, students can get a loan of up to Rs 4 lakh at minimum interest rates. They can use this amount for courses like BSc, BA, B.Tech or MBBS. This scheme is especially for all students who are willing to get higher education but are unable to do so due to lack of financial resources.

Benefits of Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme

Eligible students will get the following benefits under this scheme:-

  • Loan amount will be available up to a maximum of 4 lakh rupees.
  • Loans can be taken for polytechnic, technical and general courses.
  • The help available under this scheme can be used to buy books and laptops or to pay any type of fees.
  • The process of repaying this loan starts after the course is completed and the student gets a job.
  • The loan interest rate for disabled people, transgender and girls students is 1%.
  • Since the loan is government, its recovery process is quite flexible.

Eligibility to get loan

  • The applicant should be a resident of Bihar state and he should be at least 25 years old.
  • The applicant should pass 12th standard.
  • The applicant will have to take admission in an authorized institute for the course.
  • The applicant has to complete the entire course.

Online application process

  • First of all, go to the website https://www.7nishchay-yuvaupmission.bihar.gov.in/ website.
  • Click on New Applicant Registration ‘button.
  • Now fill your name, email ID, mobile number, Aadhaar number and OTP and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • The message of successful registration will be displayed. Also, applicants will get username and password by email and SMS.
  • https://www.7nishchay-yuvaupmission.bihar.gov.in/ go to the website and log in using a username-pasword.
  • Fill the information on the personal information page ‘and click on the’ Submit ‘button.
  • Select the ‘BSCC’ option from the drop-down list and click on the ‘Apply’ button.
  • Submit the information in BSCC form and submit it. Confirmation messages and analyrage number will be seen.
  • The respective District Registration and Counseling Center (DRCC) will schedule an appointment and send an email and SMS to inform the applicant about the date of visit of DRCC.
  • The applicant will have to go to DRCC with self -attested documents and submit it to the multipurpose assistant (MPA) for verification.
  • After the verification and the loan collection by the bank by the concerned authorities, an SMS and email will be sent by the DRCC to the applicant, in which the applicant will be informed about the date for taking ‘Student Credit Card’ and Loan Sancation Letter.
  • The applicant will have to go to the bank to complete the formalities related to the documents after taking the ‘Student Credit Card’ from DRCC and the bank’s loan collection letter.
  • The applicant will get a loan from the bank and the bank officer will inform DRCC.
