Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and former minister KT Rama Rao said that they have been holding the Congress state government accountable for the last 18 months over the lack of implementation of the promises made during the campaign.
Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, KTR said that Revanth Reddy threw challenges but backed out. “We’re ready to debate – even if other ministers come on his behalf. If Revanth wants, he can choose another date, time, or place too.”
“If necessary, I will go to his house for discussion. If he does not have the strength to discuss, then do not throw challenges again,” said KTR.
Arriving at Hyderabad Press Club in Somajiguda, KTR and BRS workers paid a silent tribute to the 600 farmers who allegedly ended their lives due to the misrule of Congress over the last 18 months.
He further said that Telangana is under Chandrababu Naidu’s covert rule. “Telangana was won for water, funds and appointments. But now the water goes to Chandrababu, funds go to Delhi and jobs go to Revanth Reddy’s loyalists.” Farmers are being betrayed, he added.
