A heart-wrenching and sensational case has come to light from Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, where, putting the relationship to shame, a cruel brother-in-law crossed all limits of cruelty with his minor sister-in-law.
The minor sister-in-law had come to her sister’s house and the brother-in-law’s dirty intentions fell upon her sister-in-law. After which he threatened her and had sexual relations. When he found out that she was pregnant, he gave yellow acid to his sister-in-law. After which he died a painful death.
Went to take care of sick sister, became victim of lust
This heart-wrenching case has come to light from a village in Majhgai police station area. The victim’s father has lodged a complaint in the police station. He told that his elder daughter was married two years ago and was sent away with a man resident of Sisaiya Purva village of Phulbehad police station area. Last year, when the elder daughter’s health deteriorated, the younger daughter (the victim) was sent to her in-laws’ house to take care of her. But there the son-in-law threatened the younger daughter and raped her.
Secret revealed due to stomach ache, pregnancy revealed in ultrasound
After the rape, when the minor went back home and had stomach pain, the girl’s father took her to the doctor for checkup. There the ultrasound report revealed that the girl is pregnant. When the girl was asked about this, she revealed the dark deeds of her brother-in-law.
First denial, then compromise and again cruelty.
Later, when the father went to his elder daughter’s in-laws house and talked to the son-in-law about it, he initially denied the rape but when he was threatened in the name of the police and the father asked him to lodge a complaint with the police, the son-in-law confessed to the crime. After this, both the families sat and discussed the matter and decided that the girl’s life had been ruined and hence the younger daughter should also be married to her son-in-law. It was also agreed that both the sisters would live together in the same house.
However, a few days after this agreement, the elder daughter had some argument with her son-in-law and she left her in-laws’ house to her maternal home. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the son-in-law and his family members got the younger daughter illegally aborted and then made her drink acid in the name of medicine.

The daughter’s health deteriorated after drinking acid. Here, when the father came to inquire about the well-being of his daughter, he came to know what all his in-laws had done to his daughter. The daughter narrated her ordeal to the father and said that her husband and in-laws made her drink acid, saying “the doctor has given medicine”.
When the father created an uproar after hearing this, the son-in-law promised to get the daughter treated well, but the daughter died during treatment, after which the girl’s family lodged a police complaint against the son-in-law and his entire family. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated thoroughly.
