A surprising case has come to light from Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh. Here a newly-wed bride flatly refused to celebrate her wedding night. The bride alleges that she was forced into marriage against her will and that she is in love with someone else. The woman had reached her husband’s house after the marriage late on Tuesday night. She refused to celebrate the wedding night and reached the police station early in the morning.
She told the police and family, “My marriage has been forced under family pressure. I want to live with my lover instead of my husband.” A video of this incident is also going viral on social media, in which her mother-in-law is seen beating her for refusing to celebrate the wedding night.
