Komaki has launched the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ electric scooters, priced at Rs 73,999 and Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom), respectively.
Motor, Range, and Charging
Both scooters run on a BLDC hub motor – output hasn’t yet been disclosed. The MG Pro V has a 2.2kWh battery, while the MG Pro+ has 2.7kWh. Their claimed range is 90-100km and more than 150km, respectively. Both have a claimed top speed of 60kmph and take around 4 hours to charge.
Komaki is offering a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty (whichever comes first) on both the battery and the motor-controller unit.
Design
Both scooters look identical, and get metal body panels – available in 4 colour options: Black, Frost White, Garnet Red, and Metal Grey. The overall silhouette of the scooter is sharp with well-defined proportions on the front with indicators placed well into the body design. Additionally, the scooter gets all LED lighting.
Underpinnings
The scooters roll on a 12-inch front tyre and a 10-inch rear tyre They have a telescopic fork and twin rear shocks. The braking is handled by a disc at the front and a drum at the rear.
Features & Convenience
It gets a fully digital display with a speedometer, odometer, battery voltage, and the battery level. The scooters also get a mobile connectivity app which shows battery health and range monitoring. Furthermore, it also features a keyless start, anti-theft lock and park assist.
The scooters have a decent floorboard space as well as underseat storage, which will add to everyday convenience.
