UP Politics: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak accused SP President Akhilesh Yadav of distributing society and making misleading statements regarding the Fatehpur incident. He also underlined the BJP’s law and order and achievements in the field of education.

Brajesh Pathak on Akhilesh Yadav: The statement of Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav regarding the incident in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh has heated the political atmosphere. State Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, while taking a strong stand on the statement, accused the SP of spreading misleading things and trying to divide the society on the basis of religion, caste and region.

Deputy CM’s charge- “Divide, rule” policy

Brajesh Pathak said that SP and Congress have worked on the policy of ‘divide, rule’ for decades, which promoted the politics of partition in the country and the state. He alleged that Akhilesh Yadav only wants to take political advantage from his statements, which can spoil the atmosphere of the state.

BJP’s message – appeasement is not of anyone, satisfaction of everyone

The deputy CM insisted that BJP does not do politics of hate. He said that the vision of the government is “appeasement, not anyone’s, satisfaction”. He claimed that in the eight and a half year BJP rule, the riots have been fully controlled, which the SP is not in pleasure.

Government action on Fatehpur incident

Regarding the incident in Abu Nagar of Fatehpur, Brajesh Pathak said that the government immediately took action. Teams, PAC and administrative officials of 10 police stations were deployed on the spot, which made the situation completely normal. He appealed to the opposition parties not to make such incidents a medium of politics.

SP accused of inciting Hindu-Muslim dispute

Brajesh Pathak said that the SP is repeatedly trying to maintain vote banks by inciting the Hindu-Muslim dispute. Whereas the BJP aims to connect the society and maintain the rule of law. The deputy CM also mentioned the progress made in the field of education. He said that more than 27 lakh new children were enrolled in ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ this year. Under Operation Rejuvenation, 96% of schools with an investment of ₹ 11,500 crore were provided 19 basic facilities like drinking water, toilet, electricity, furniture, classroom repair. Under the Atal Residential School Scheme, schools have started in 18 divisions, where more than 18,000 workers and orphans are getting free residential education and skill training.

Brajesh Pathak accused the SP regime that 3.45 crore children were out of school in 2015. He said that the BJP government has given priority to education and has equipped schools with modern facilities.
