The Kerala Story 2 box office collection
Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh and backed by producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah, The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond has now entered its second week in cinemas. According to trade estimates from Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 1.85 crore on Day 11, which fell on its second Monday.
As per Sacnilk, the movie’s India net total has reached Rs 34.70 crore, while its gross domestic collection stands at around Rs 40.61 crore. However, the sequel’s numbers remain far below those of the original The Kerala Story, which had collected an impressive Rs 146.59 crore within the same 11-day period and eventually crossed Rs 300 crore worldwide.

The film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of about 11.20% on Monday, reflecting a noticeable dip after the weekend boost. The story follows three women from different Indian states who defy family expectations for love, only to find themselves trapped in controlling relationships. As they realise the cost of their choices, they fight to reclaim their freedom. The film stars Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, Aishwarya Ojha, Sumit Gahlawat and Arjan Singh Aujla.
Thaai Kizhavi box office collection
In contrast, Thaai Kizhavi continues to perform consistently at the box office. The film, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, has collected approximately Rs 37.90 crore net in India and Rs 43.42 crore gross by Day 12, as per Sacnilk.
The second weekend played a crucial role in strengthening its performance. On Day 10, which was the second Sunday, the film earned Rs 5 crore net with an occupancy rate of around 36%. Like most films, collections dipped on the following weekday, with Rs 2.50 crore recorded on Day 11.
