On Day 19, a marginal uptick was reported after the film recorded its lowest single-day figures earlier in the week. After earning Rs 16.5 crore on Day 18, collections rose to Rs 17.25 crore on Day 19, taking the total domestic net to Rs 589.50 crore. Occupancy levels have remained stable across key circuits, indicating sustained word-of-mouth support.
Internationally, the film has also continued its strong run. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar has amassed Rs 876.5 crore worldwide so far. With overseas markets still contributing steadily, expectations have been raised around the film’s potential to breach the Rs 1,000-crore global mark in the coming days.

Meanwhile, James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third instalment in the blockbuster franchise, has shown a different trajectory in India. Released on December 19, 2025, the film opened to Rs 19 crore, followed by Rs 22.5 crore on Day 2 and Rs 25.75 crore on Day 3. A notable dip was seen on its first Monday, when collections fell to Rs 9 crore. On Day 5, the film stabilised slightly, earning Rs 9.25 crore.

While Avatar: Fire and Ash continues to perform strongly in overseas markets, its Indian numbers remain moderate when compared to the pace set by Dhurandhar. The contrast highlights the current audience tilt towards high-octane domestic spectacles with rooted storytelling.
