Karnataka News: Tumakuru district Police are investigating a suspected murder after body parts were discovered in multiple locations, the search beginning when a stray dog was spotted carrying a human limb.
The unusual sight was reported on Thursday morning by a man travelling along the Koratagere–Kolala road near Chimpaganahalli. He saw the dog emerging from roadside bushes with what appeared to be an arm in its mouth. He contacted the emergency helpline, prompting officers to cordon off the area.
Forensic specialists from Bengaluru and police dog squads joined local officers at the scene. Investigators believe the victim could be a woman, but laboratory analysis of bone and tissue samples is awaited before confirmation.
