Blinkit delivery man rides horse in Rajasthan, viral video amuses internet

Jaipur: Online grocery deliveries have become routine in Indian cities, with riders usually arriving on bikes or scooters carrying branded bags. But residents on a quiet stretch of road in Rajasthan were left surprised when they spotted a very different sight — a man delivering for Blinkit while riding a horse.

A video circulating on X shows an elderly man sitting on a black horse, travelling along the edge of a paved road bordered by green fields and scattered buildings. Dressed in traditional attire and a turban, he carries a bright yellow Blinkit delivery bag on his back. The horse, decorated with a red bridle and saddle cloth, moves steadily as the man holds its reins confidently.

The blend of a modern quick-commerce brand and a traditional mode of transport quickly drew attention. The clip, shared on February 22, has garnered over two lakh views and sparked a wave of reactions online.

The video’s caption humorously read: “This is Rajasthan, bro…!!! The youth aren’t even getting the chance to ride a mare…. And the old men are doing online deliveries on horses.”

Social media users praised the unconventional delivery style. Some called it a “green delivery” initiative, while others joked that camel deliveries could be next. Several commenters appreciated the pollution-free approach, while a few highlighted the dedication of the elderly rider continuing to work at his age.

Interestingly, this is not the first such viral moment. In November 2025, another Blinkit delivery worker was seen navigating heavy traffic on a camel, reportedly choosing the animal to bypass a major traffic jam.
