Recently, the Kpop star’s Instagram posts sparked dating rumours with Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro. The duo’s similar social media posts left fans wondering if they are dating or collaborating on a project. Amid the dating rumours, Lisa announced a short film titled Dream with Sakaguchi Kentaro. It seems like Lalisa Manobal quashed all speculations by dropping the first look poster and trailer of her new project.

BLACKPINK Lisa, who debuted as an actor with The White Lotus season 3, announced her new film. Starring alongside Japanese actor-model Kentaro Sakaguchi, the film is set to premiere on August 13 at 11 p.m. EST. Lisa dropped the trailer, offering a glimpse into a beautiful love story with an emotional breakup.

By unveiling the first look poster of Dream, Lisa wrote on her Instagram, “An emotional, beautiful story that will soon be yours.Dream Short Film premiering 2025.08.13 11pm EST.” The short film Dream is based on Lisa’s hit song of the same name from her album Alter Ego, released on February 28.
