Who is Maithili Thakur?
Maithili Thakur is recognized as a young and talented singer of Bihar. He is counted among the favorite voices of Indian folk and classical music. She is known in every household for traditional songs and bhajans. Maithili Thakur was born on 25 July 2000. She is from Benipatti in Madhubani district. His father Ramesh Thakur is a music teacher. Maithili along with her two brothers learned the art of music under the guidance of their father and grandfather.
From which assembly seat did BJP give ticket to Maithili Thakur?
BJP has given ticket to Maithili Thakur from Alinagar seat in Darbhanga district. Mishri Lal Yadav of VSIP had won here in the 2020 elections. In 2015, this seat was won by RJD’s Abdul Bari Siddiqui. 158159 voters of this assembly constituency voted in the 2020 elections. Voting was 57.4%. Elections are to be held in Alinagar in the first phase. Voting will take place on 6 November. The last date for filing nominations is October 17.

BJP has released the names of 83 candidates so far
BJP has so far released the names of 83 candidates for Bihar elections. There were names of 71 candidates in the first list of the party. BJP is contesting on 101 out of 243 seats in Bihar Assembly. Elections are being held in two phases in Bihar. Voting will take place on 6 and 11 November. Counting of votes will take place on November 14.
