Birsa Munda Jayanti: On the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav gave a check of Rs 1 crore to Women’s World Cup winning cricketer Kranti Gond.

Tribal Pride Day celebration was organized on 15th November in Jabalpur, the cultural capital of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from them, Padmashri Arjun Singh Ghurve, Fuljhariya Bai, Vikram Awardee Ragini Marco, Srishti Singh were also honored.

In the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the welfare of the tribal class is continuously improving. We are happy that the largest population of tribal society lives in Madhya Pradesh. Tribal heroes made immense sacrifices for freedom

Tribal children are becoming doctors and engineers today. They are doing government jobs. He said that more than Rs 18 thousand crores have been spent on Eklavya schools in the country. There has been an increase of 60 percent in the admissions of these schools. Tribal youth have a big contribution in increasing the prestige of the country in the world. Now the Indian women’s cricket team has created history by winning the World Cup. There is a tribal daughter in that team also.

Central government schemes being launched in tribal areas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that many schemes of the Central Government are being launched in tribal areas. Ayushman Arogya Mandirs were started from Chhattisgarh. We started PM Janman Yojana from Khunti village of Jharkhand. I am the first Prime Minister of the country, who visited the village of Lord Birsa Munda. Statue of Lord Birsa Munda unveiled in Alirajpur
